CLOSE TO THE EDGE!

Why do you ask that I have pictures of my husband sleeping?
To show you my lovely quilt?
Nope.
To show you my awesome three dollar bed skirt?
Nope.
To show you my husband sleeping "close to the edge" of the bed.
Does it look like he is close to the edge?
I should go back upstairs and bring a ruler to see how much room he has till he hits the edge of the bed.
He put the pillow on his head after he noticed me standing there with a camera in my hand, pretending to be a piece of furniture in our room, with eyes looking up at the ceiling. Was trying to look inconspicous. He KNOWS this is going on the blog.
How do I know?
Because of the conversation we had at 12:30 a.m. this morning in bed.
Yepper!
Before I go into our conversation, I have mentioned before I deal with back pain. Well I sleep with pillows by my back. Actually I have progressed to only using one pillow now since my back is doing much better. Dr.'s recommendation!
Randy: Cripe, that damn pillow!
I'm sleeping and wake up to this.
Randy: I'm close to the edge of the bed. Look at all the room you have.
I'm sitting here giggling away thinking about this.!
Oh Vee, you would be so proud of me. I BARELY talked this time, let him do it all, lol.
So I position my pillow close to me, skuttle over to the edge of the bed on my side. Help him with his blanket since I'm busy moving the pillow that goes by my back, fixing my head pillow, my flannel housecoat that I like to use as a blanket, plus move another blanket up towards my chin. With Tigger, my toy poodle on top of it all sitting there being moved around. Can you believe that dog? Doesn't even help me!
Randy: For crying out loud, what are you doing? What are you shoving in my back?
Me: I'm fixing the blanket for you so it's wrapped around your back?
Randy likes the blanket wrapped tight around him when he is sleeping on his side. When I move, I usually move all the blankets and he complains he is 'FREEZING'.
Randy: That pillow is bugging me.
My pillow is on the other side of me, not even near him. It's all the 'decorative' pillows that he forgot to take off the bed, lol.
He realizes it and throws it on the floor.
Me: What's that smell?
My eyes were closed when I said it. I open them up and there in my face is my husband's arm pit!!
Randy: I took a shower.
Me. I don't care, you smell really bad. You do KNOW I'm putting this on the blog.
We both start to laugh hysterically. This is like at 1:00 a.m. now! LOL
Than he says something really funny and intelligent. I'm so bummed because I forgot what it was since it was early in the morning. I KNOW he really wanted it on the blog..LOL..I think that is why he said it. I even remember as I was falling asleep thinking, 'oh I do hope I remember words he said so I can put it in the blog'.
I think I may have started a new weekly post. Saturday's with Randy and Angie. LOL...
I'm off to start my extremely busy day. I'm resting in the Lord though.
And the effect of righteousness will be peace (internal and external) and the result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever. Isaiah 32:17
From Joyce Meyer's Starting Your Day Right
"Be willing to separate yourself from compulsive activity before you come apart at the seams! Spend time with God, and ask Him to give order to your day!
Thy Kindgom come Father God on earth as it is in Heaven.

Thanks sweetness. On my first of a thousand loads of laundry. Tidied the diningroom, prayer/computer room, put some clothes away, and pitter pattering around the house getting ready for celebrating the Lord's birth this Holy Season!

Too funny! We are always bickering about how much space I need on the bed to sprawl. I have back problems too, so i take a body pillow, you know those long ones, and brace it behind my back so now there is no room for my dear husband. Usually he goes into the spare room to sleep!LOL

Well, Miss Angela, I must tell you that if I posted a picture of my hubby in bed he would absolutely kill me. I hope your hubby has a better sense of humor than mine. :)

Housewife, as you can tell by me typing this, I'm still alive! Alleluia! lol. My husband and I are walking, breathing, living testimony of God's power and glory. Our marriage, in ALL standards, be it the world's or Christian, should have been destroyed. One day I will share our testimony of God's miracle in our marriage. For those that have 'known' my husband and my relationship either through my internest ministry The Blessings of Free Spirit Haven or now blogging, they know my husband LOVES the attention, (especially when it is filled with love). Not only is my life an open book, but so if my husband's. I thank God that I do have a husband that allows me this freedom to pour out my heart, and share like this. It's totally God's doing, that is FOR SURE!~!There are times I will find him sitting here at the computer reading what I wrote, or coming up behind me reading, or asking me,'what are you telling them now?" LOL LOL...

Hi! I found you through Armchair Housewife and I just had to comment on your pillow and bed situation! I too have an awful back and need to sleep with pillows and my husband hates them, especially since it's really hard to cuddle with them! Just had a laugh reading your story and could so relate!! Merry Christmas!
