Our Father,
Who Art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into tempation
But deliver us from the evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory

When we went to Syria, we visited a mountain area where they have continued to speak Aramaic - most likely the language Jesus spoke. Anyway, there was a tour guide who said the Lord's prayer for us in Aramaic. I got all teary thinking of our precious Jesus saying those very words hundreds of years ago when His disciples asked that He teach them to pray.
Oh amen, sister!
