MAKING YOUR HOUSE A HOME

Hi, I'm Angela. Please join me on a tour of making my house a home! You can click on the pictures to make them bigger.
These plants are from last year that I brought into my house in the Fall. I was hoping to have them survive so I could use them in the Spring and save our family money! Praise God for His goodness. I was able to get 8 baskets made out of the 4 plants that I brought indoors in the Fall! The cute little rain boots I bought for a quarter at a yard sale. I also saved all the containers from previous years to plant the flowers. Saving me more money.
The bird house was bought for 4.99 when I was working outside the home a few years ago. I got it on sale. The original price was 24.99. The angel was 25 cents!
Hubby is quite handy with wood. He made this for me. The little guy holding all those glass rocks was my Aunt Tina's who past away in March 08.
The angel was a gift for my birthday last year. The bed skirt was 1.00 at a yard sale!
My 'potting table', lol. I set up this area in the back of our garage where not many people really see, but I still wanted to make every corner of my 'home' pleasing to the eye.
Free chicken in the hens from my Mommy. I have two containers like this side by side on our deck. Yard Sale 50 cents for both.
New table cloth 1.00. Table and chairs, FREE! At a yard sale at my mother's cousins house.
The plant holder was bought on a trip to Barrie. I paid more than I would usually. 14.99. It is from Mexico. The sign was 25 cents.
Check out the flower that is growing from my chicken in the hen. Child's wagon, 10 cents. Plate 10 cents.
Another planter I got in Barrie. 14.99. More of my geraniums that I kept from last year and brought them back out in the Spring. The star was 25 cents. The plates were really cheap. I think I got about 20 of them for one dollar.

Hope you enjoyed your little visit with me today. Now I need to get my batteries recharged on the camera so I can take more pictures, lol.

blessings everyone.
