I adore decorating blogs! I love 'visiting' their homes. I love looking into their rooms. I LOVE the ideas I get. Well I have noticed quite a few blogs have these delightful banners. They look like little flags stringed along. Believe. Faith. Love. The four seasons. All different wording.
Well I have been wanting to do something like that for my home. I'm a wanna be. Wanna be quilter. Wanna be sewer. Wanna be craftier. Wanna be painter. I have loads of material. I have a sewing machine. Tons of crafts ready to start. Paint coming out of my wazoo.I was blessed last year with TONS of fabric at a yard sale for FREE! Blessed with letters for FREE. Blessed with paper caper (that's holding the banner) for FREE. Glue gun free from my Mommy. Glue sticks at the Dollar Store.
Well a few months back, yes, a few months back! I organized on the material the words for the four seasons. I placed them in my wanna be scrapper box. Yes, I wanna be a scrapper also.
Well, while the daycare children did puzzles, this is what I came up with. Not bad. Quite simple. Simple is VERY good for me. I was not going to attempt to cut the material into a flag shape because, well, I haven't gotten the hang of cutting a straight line yet.
And yes, that is a tree by the fire place. No it's not a Christmas tree right now. It's a light tree. That is what I keep telling my family and I'm sticking to it, thank you very much! I think I may put some summer decorations on it. I may do that for each season of the year. Depends. I may just put the tree away and take it out for Christmas. Right now, I like it! lol

O and I your dolls reminded me that I "wanna" make ragedy ann style dolls for my grand daughters. I'm a wanna be sewer but I think I can work it out by hand in the craft store or at least I "wanna". (smile).
Your banner looks great. In regards to your "light" tree, hey, we have freedom! You just display that tree however long you like! LOL

Cute summer banner!! I had a great start to my Saturday. Up early, before 7AM and spent time in The Word. Then spent 45 minutes cleaning the master bathroom from top to bottom. Showered now heading out to shop with Hubby and Daughter. Love ya!!
