Since getting a computer November 11,2000, my life has changed.
I found I was able to get to places that I never could have before. I've traveled the world through my finger tips. Been to Holland to 'visit' a friend, been all over the United States having fellowship with other believers. Been to Australia, India, Romania to name just a few.
The community of believers expanded for me when we bought our first computer.
I've sat at this computer talking, visiting, praying, crying in joy, crying in pain, being rejected, being loved, encouraged, and blessed more than I could ever write about.
I've met in person people that I have 'met' on the computer. I've formed friendships that have touched not only my life but my family's. I've had the opportunity of praying on the phone for many, and they praying for me. Those times truly are GOD AMAZING!
I'm SO thankful for God's leading me October 20, 2008 to start Free Spirit Haven in blogland.
I'm thankful for God giving me the opportunity of having FSH at msn groups for many years, and when they closed down in February 2009, God lead me months previously to start this blog. He KNEW. He knew I need a place to continue to pour out my heart, to praise Him, to share His love and to have fellowship with His children.
I've definitely found that and more.
I'm so thankful for how the Lord brings His children together. From all parts of the world.
We truly do have an amazing Father don't we. Providing for us 'reunions'!

I'm thankful that He didn't wait for us to 'meet' when we get to our destination; our HOME, but on this journey, along the way, He has blessed us.
I'm thankful.
I'm praising God Almighty for His lavish love.
His compassions are new each and every morning. A new day. A new beginning. Filled with blessings, filled with forgiveness. Filled with grace and mercy to help us in our time of need.
I'm thankful!
Father God, Thy kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven.

AMEN! Girl yesterday I was listening to The Frank Pastore show on my way home (the broadcast was in and out..due to the canyon walls) I'd like to pray today for the People in India, Frank had a guest speaker on regrading the Christians in India being murdered for their faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They are encouraged (while attending this university to go home and dig their graves on the outskirts of their villages) for they will be killed the minute they step back into their Country. One such man, said.. I will walk in faith, and faith alone, I will walk Jesus's roads and tell ALL HOW WONDERFUL HE IS. I WILL FREELY GIVE MY LIFE FOR GOD. TO RELEASE THE CHAINS OF BONDAGE. I WILL HAPPILY GO AND DIE FOR MY FELLOW CHRISTIANS..BY DOING SO. I WILL SO IT'S OK TO LOVE THE LORD.
Help me pray for them..help me understand why they would be executed for LOVING JESUS.
It broke my heart yesterday..
How LUCKY I am to be able to shout from the roof tops HOW AWESOME GOD IS. And have NO fear of consequences!

The Bible tells us that as the End time grows near, knowledge will be increased. Well, this --the way we can touch each other with our fingertips from far-away places--is a GOOD thing about that increase. Just think how we can talk to one another, pray for each other, cry and laugh with each other. What a GREAT GOD we have, to give us this way to touch one another's lives, to share our faith.
You have so much more faith than I, Angela, but I'm working to somehow climb up the mountain and maybe you can pull me up to meet you!!
Praise God from whom all blessings flow--HE loves each one of us-- and so that none could boast of works--HE DIED for us all.
I so hate to hear that some have rejected you and your message--well, Jesus was rejected, too, Count it all joy! I'm so thankful, that through Fresh Fixins, I found Free Spirit Haven.
I have always and will continue to be grateful to have been blessed by our friendship through internet. God works in mysterious ways lol. Love ya girl <3
My sister and I have talked about this every thing often. The internet has allowed us to connect with others and form friendships with people on the other side of the world. It would have never been possible just a few years ago. A wonderful thing to be thankful for ...that's for sure!

This is a wonderful post! I echo every word of it. When I 1st began blogging, I couldn't believe folks from Amsterdam, Finland & Ireland were commenting on my blog. I was in awe. I have "met" some wonderful people as you have. In fact, YOU are one of them! Each year I meet someone new that will be my new friend not just for that year. You are the one this year and I am thankful. I am thankful for your comments. I can't believe you called me "Sis"! You see I am an only child and never had the honor of siblings. Of course my BFF's are like my sister I never had. My mom is my BFF also. I have also "met" so many talented artists in my blogging journey. The greatest thing about it is the sharing; the opening up of our souls and pouring them on the pages of our blogs; the true caring. It allows for more prayers to be prayed and answered.
