FEARLESS FRIDAY

Welcome to Fearless Fridays! A day where I commit to pray for you. Other precious prayer warriors have also committed to pray for you. To participate in Fearless Fridays please leave a comment sharing your prayer request. You may also reach me at free_spirit103@hotmail.com. I hope you will join Fearless Fridays and see the power of prayer in your life and others.

If the Lord so leads you, please grab the Fearless Friday button and bring it to your blog, letting others know you too will stand in the gap for others through prayer.

I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loose in heaven. Again I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in My name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:18-20

“They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.” ~ Psalm 112:7-8 NLT

"Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT

Do you ever get tired?

Tired of waiting?

Tired of crying out to God?

Questioning?

Wondering?

Doubting?

I lived most of my Christian walk like that.

As many of you know that have been following along with me on this journey, I've been praying for my husband to find permanent employment.

It's been over a year now.

I've also been praying for my marriage, my children, my daycare, health issues, our home, our finances, and you.

And here you and I sit. Before this computer screen.

Me with tears welling up in my eyes.

My flesh is tired.

I'm hurting.

My heart aches.

Oh precious one, I've shared with some of you personally, I WILL NOT STOP CRYING OUT TO GOD OUR FATHER.

No matter how tired I am. No matter how battered and bruised I am. No matter how much I ache. I will NOT stop crying out to our Father God and PRAISING Him, calling out to Him.

This morning I come before our Father and I will lay my requests before Him for you and I. I will wait. Wait in expectation. We have come this far precious one, it is NOT time to stop and give up.

Christian

Look at the wee one standing there. Do you notice how his head is raised up. He 'sees' the hills. Before them looks like an endless sea of water. No hills.

The small child has learned:

Christian

Look.

Do you see the hills now?

Precious one, even though it seems like we have been praying and nothing is happening, even though we are getting tired and our flesh is screaming to give up.

Even though....

Even though....

Let us continue calling things that are not as though they are. Romans 4:17

What we are facing is temporary beloved one. TEMPORARY.

Christian

We are from the Tribe of the Lion of Judah!!

So let us ROAR!!

Roar at the adversary.

Let us remember we:
do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.

Let's face our foes triumphantly today precious one. With confidence and fearlessness.

Let's get our armor straightened, tucked in, and STAND OUR GROUND..For our deliverance has been assured precious one!!!

Thank you sweet sister. What a beautiful post.

My dear hubby has a part time teaching gig. It has also been a year of unemployment for us as well. Still every need has been met.

Prayer has been an interlingual part of making it through this past year.

Blessings

Angela,
I love that you do this post. Please don't forget yourself. For awhile I was only praying for others and felt selfish praying for ME. And then I thought, what am I doing? I AM important too.

I know that answer to prayer sometimes is "wait" and the wait can seem interminable. I feel that on my skin because my friend Maha in Bahrain waited 18 months for her brother to be freed from an unfair jailing and daily beatings from which he almost lost his eyesight. Two weeks ago the entire community prayed in the mosque until dawn, and in the morning the king declared the 19 wrongly jailed young men, of whom Maha's brother was one, innocent and pardoned them. They have been given their jobs back and are now considered heroes. (The last such jailing ten years ago ended in execution, so definitely these prayers had power.) Keep praying. I am certain that God hears you.

ange, you are in my prayers. where the adversary is in our lives, where it hit us most is where God is at work in our lives. this is not the time to give. we shouldn't. let's continue to pray.
