But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

Ring, ring.

Check to see who it is.

I'm in bed.

It's
His Living Sacrifice .

I feel like I got caught with my hand in the cookie jar.

Well it was actually the Tupperware container filled with nachos.

Pick up the phone and no we didn't talk about receipes.

We talked about how we did with our eating for the day.

Paula celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday. She's American.

I'm Canadian.

Thanksgiving was in October in the 'great white North".

"Ya, well I'm eating some nachos right now," as I put the lid back on the container.

The urge to continue eating is gone.

Just a hand full was eaten.

Yepper, two days in a row, God in His faithfulness, EVEN when I wasn't being faithful provided a way out for me.

Food

When I woke up this morning and took out my daily Promises from God scripture card out 1 Corinthians 10:31 was there.

Whatever I eat or drink, or whatever, I am do it all for the glory of God.

Eating well.

Nourishing this 'temple' that is NOT mine, but God Almighty's.

Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. Psalm 37:7

When I see this picture above, I remember there was a time I couldn't even cross my legs without lifting my leg up with my hands and placing it over the other one. Forget sitting like this!

I'm learning with this issue of food, the stronghold and bondage that I was in concerning food, is a matter of trust.

Trust in the One that has set me free.

Trust that the good work that He has started within and without, WILL be completed..

I MUST not do this

Christian

I WILL never take any credit for this weight release.

It was totally God's doing.

You know, I can't even take credit for crying out to God..

That was His doing too...

It's all about Him. It's all HIS DOING...

So I will rest in Him and wait patiently has He releases me from the last of these 30 lbs that have no place on this temple...

Congratulations on how far you have come! The last few lengths of the journey always seem the longest. I am with you on this one. I need to lose 30 more, too. I count the calories -- and then lose track. May God help both of us!

How do you put the lid back on Nachos? Doesn't that mean crunchy tortilla chips covered in melted cheese with sour cream and guacamole? If they come in a container, I don't even want to know where to buy them. Good for you for giving God the glory.

A bag of plan nachoes that are placed in a tupperware container. Yes, you can use these nachoes with all the trimmings, but these are also eaten plain (white corn chips). They stay fresher in a tupperware container than left in the bag.lol

I'm glad Paula called. :o) We need our reminders don't we?

Thanks for sharing this post because it has convicted me. Being the Christmas season -- there are home baked products around. When I broke my f and ate my "break" fast -- I ate two little cookies. Now those calories weren't needed, but in my body they went. I really do need to make healthier choices.
