This is what faced me early Tuesday morning.
My journal entry:
Dear Jesus,
Here I sit, fighting frustration, anger, irritation, obsessing. Can I say anger again?
We are bringing the computer in. Randy asked me to turn it off and before I had the chance to complete it, he turns the power off.
The computer won't start back up! I keep hearing, "His love will calm all your fears." Psalm Zephaniah 3:17.
My flesh cries out, "I'm fed up."
Again God's Word comes to my heart.
My flesh cries again, "We don't have money for this."
God's Word speaks again.
Over and over this battle rages on. My spirit man with my flesh.

Jesus, You are in control. this is not to harm us but to save us. Build our character, allowing the roots of the Holy Spirit's fruit to be nourished, fed, and to thrive.
I thank You that You care more about our souls than 'our getting our own way'. Having an 'easy ride' to the Promised Land.
Oh Precious heavenly Father, You DO calm my fears with Your love. You bring peace and calm in the midst of the storm.

When the computer is out... that's the worst!
It's amazing how dependent I am on it now. I mean.. I have PEOPLE that will be looking for me if I'm not on!!! :D
I would have been frustrated too.

I am so thankful you are attentive to His words. That He was able to calm you in the midst of all that happened with the computer outage, etc... Love you!
I know how important the computer is for your devotionals, little SIS! Still, I know you can hear the Lord's voice over your flesh and that endears you to me so much! You want to hyell, you even MAY yell!! But you know His voice--'My sheep know my voice.' He says!!
I know I'd miss my computer for a few days, but we know if we couldn't hear His voice, nothing could ever replce that!
