Change me Father. Change my heart completely. Change this woman that I have become. I pray for:
a gentle calm spirit
a joy filled heart that overflows, touching others around me
an obedient heart following Your precepts
a serving heart that is filled with peace and obedience
to be set free from a bitter, critical and complaining spirit
to love as You have commanded me too
set free from a lazy spirit
to use my time wisely
to walk in faith and not by sight.
to make my home a safe sanctuary to all who enter in Lord God, this is my prayer. Help me, Your fallen sin filled daughter. Release me from Satan's hold. amen amen amen

Yesterday I wrote out my Monday chores. None were completed, except daily routines. I was very disheartened. That is until I read my evening devotional. Jesus, no matter how hard I try, I will never change. No matter how much I want to stay up in the evening to clean, I can't. I can't but You can. YOUR THE ONLY ONE that can change me and my circumstances.
Jesus, I pray I rest in You alone. Hoping for change for my family and I. Having the eyes of faith and walking in it.
amen amen amen

Jesus, forgive me for being impatient with the process of my transformation. Forgive me for not believing, trusting and hoping in Your transformation power working in me. Oh Jesus, give me eyes to see the good, give me an obedient heart to walk in the transformation and the perseverance to keep going.
I hunger to spend my days wisely and productively. To use each moment to bring glory and honor to God.
Jesus, I love You so much and pray for an even greater love for You.
amen amen amen
These are just a few entries in journals from my past.
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8
The Amplified translation states, ask and keep on asking, seek and keep on seeking, knock and keep on knocking.
It has been years that I was asking, seeking and knocking. I REFUSED to stop. I COULD not stop. I KNEW this was not the way the Lord desired for me to live. So I continued to cry out, cry out, cry out. I would not stop.

I love this picture above of Mary Magdalene.
I love Jesus' hand outstretched to her.
Some may think what is the big deal about cleaning a house. Get off your behind and just do it.
For those of you who struggle with laziness and procrastination you KNOW that is so much easier said than done.
I believe, for myself at least, a disorganized house and a chaotic house, is the surface of what is truly inside my own heart.
Stress. Chaos. Lack of peace, joy, love.Depression.
Oh precious one, God IS so good. Our Father loves us so much.
No good think will the Lord withhold from those who do what is right. psalm 84:11
I encourage you to cry out to our Father. Confess your struggle, confess, confess, confess. Be released from this and accept His forgiveness and healing power.
I encourage you to do this on a daily basis! Oh my, how confession is so good for the soul.
Cleansing us from all unrighteousness for Christ's Name Sake!!
Cry out to God. Keep crying out to God.
Trust Him, believe He hears and will answer...
I will continue to share my journey of being released from laziness and procrastination with you as the Lord leads me to.
Thy Kingdom come Father God on earth as it is in Heaven.
amen amen amen

Yep. From my closet to my purse to my mind, I find clutter---and so, I see a cluttered spirit, as well. I wonder if I can be released from the clutter, too!
Beautiful post, Angela. Thanks for sharing. :)
Such a great post sis.
