Learning to surrender.
Surrendering control.
Surrendering relationships.
Surrendering circumstances.

Even though I am surrounded by the nipping of the wolves all around, learning to surrender.
Surrendering my thoughts, my actions, my will.

Learning to humble myself, my wants, my desires.
Humble: modesty in behavior, attitude or spirit.
Surrendering my behavior of justifying my actions, self righteousness, pride.

Surrendering my soul. My will, my emotions, my thoughts.
Giving up from...
Meditating upon relationships, circumstances, hurts, sorrows, pain, anger.

Surrendering my focus.
My focus on myself, others, and circumstances.

Surrendering and asking for help.
Admitting I just can't do it.
Admitting that my eyes have turned away.

Surrendering my all.
"My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as You will."
Matthew 26:42
He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done." Matthew 26:42
Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and He will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way? Matthew 26:53-54

He surrendered EVERYTHING for me.For you!
We just finished celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior.
His coming.
To earth.
The Word made flesh.
He came for a purpose.
To be a Sacrifice.
Look at that picture again.
Do you know that He is praying for you and I?
To be His living sacrifice.
Like me, do you cry out: may this cup be taken from me?
Like me do you cry out again and again: may this cup be taken from me?
God knows our weaknesses. He says when we are weak, He is strong and will supply all of our needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
He KNOWS to surrender, to let go in our human flesh is IMPOSSIBLE, but with God ALL things are possible.

Right now I need to bow down before the King of kings and the Lord of lords. I NEED to surrender my everything, which REALLY is NOTHING without HIM!!
More of Him, less of me....
He must increase, I must decrease...
Thy Kingdom come Father God on earth, in my life, as it is in heaven.
amen amen amen

Hope your holiday was a good one. I am not posting as much these days. I have been too exhausted to sit at a computer LOL!
I loved the picture and verse of the one with the radiant face. When we look to Him, we radiate His glory because we are a reflection of Him. Great post Sis. Today seems to be a struggle and I know I need to keep my eyes on Him or I'm gonna fall.
