Sweet lady, your blog today, made me think of 2 things. One , yesterday a friend of mine criticized the new poem I have posted yesterday, about the Gift of Christmas. Thats fine, shes entitled to her thoughts.. But as I thought about her most of last night before I went to bed, I began praying for the Lords truth to fall over her, and for her to recognize that He is a personal God for each one of us. He isn't just some " body" that was crucified so long ago. He was a simple carpenter, turned Redeemer and Savior.. And that I have prayed for her to understand, even though she calls herself a believer..
Second, your blog made me pull up the following poem here, which today, I am fixin' to write a blog about.. You are the inspiration today for the blog, though not the ' subject ' of it.. You just spoke God's Word into my spirit this morning, and I wanted to say thank you, sweet lady..
Blessings to your day!

would have been nice for me to post the poem, too, huh? lol.. here is my prayer poem written some time ago.

I want to be a DO-er, Lord
one who walks where you have walked
I want to be one willing to do as you ask
not just pretend, to " talk, the talk".

Lord, i want to offer your hope and help
and share my heart with those who seek
And as I write whats on my heart
Lord, be my mouthpiece in which to speak.

Father, take this vessel of who I am
and empty out things that have no place
replacing in me with the message of life
because you are a God of mercy and grace.

So as I come and offer myself
Lord God, use me just as I am
Use my heart to share of your Hope
for its by the gift of Your Redeeming plan.

Hi Ang, this video blesses me and reminds me that I need to spend more time in God's Word. And especially during this holiday season when things get so busy...being close to Him helps keep me at Peace and I need to do that more. Thank you for this!
Hugs.

Good morning girl!!! God woke me up at 5:45 am and I started my day out in prayer and read several chapters in my Bible. I've made my bed, fed the dogs and still have 35 minutes before I have to wake up Curly Girl!! I am ahead in my reading through the Bible in a year. Praise God!!! It's 6:10 am as I type this comment.
