IT'S NOT ABOUT ME

Christian

As many of us who began our journey on ASH WEDNESDAY...A LITTLE LONGER
Catholic's and non Catholic's alike have been meditating upon the Sorrowful Mysteries.

Today I will be sharing:

Fourth Sorrowful Mystery - Jesus Carries His Cross

I desire the Virtue of Patience

Think of...

The heavy Cross, so willingly carried by our Lord, and ask Him to help you to carry your crosses without complaint.
Matthew 27:32

Patience is an elusive virtue in the fast-paced and anxiety-filled world today.

Blessings Angela...Who doesn't need more patience?

How blessed are we that Jesus bore our sorrow and carried our cross. Many times we complain of the "crosses" we believe that we are carrying in our lives, nothing compared to the weight of Jesus' cross! Though my post is not on the fourth sorrowful mystery, it is on Our Lord:) 'cause it's all about Him and it's not at all about me but this was about ME, Jesus carrying His Cross because it was for me and you and each of us:

(Luk 23,26-32)

"Even if He had suffered just for you, Jesus would have accepted such pains, great is His love for you. Along the road to Calvary Jesus sees Mary, His Mother. Can we imagine the moment when Their eyes met? Oh how Her Heart must have ached. Let us pray to Mary for the grace to always accept our cross, so that Her and Jesus may bear it."

I am sharing on Good Friday (I think that's when) specifically about this in the way of the cross.

Bless you this wonderful, glorious Sunday, my friend and prayer warrior! Love ya' Peggy

Hi Angela, Patience is a virtue for sure and I have learned over the years to not pray for patience, because it only really comes through our journey and trials. It is then, we learn patience.

Thank you for stopping by. I finally have my bath pics in a post. So glad to be done.

Blessings to you my sweet friend.
Love, Celestina Marie

Makes so many of our crosses seem quite small in comparison, huh?
