SEVEN HOURS LATER

9:30 a.m.

First thing first.

Get that caffeine started.

Tomorrow the Catholic Women's League of our Parish is holding a Spring/Easter Penny and Bake Sale.

I'm convening it.

I'm also the president of the League for our Parish.


A dear sister in the Lord, Barb, picked me up and opened up the Church for me.

She wasn't able to stay to help.

Doesn't that look like she is helping?

The boxes on this table are items that will be going for the Penny Table.

By the time it was all said and done, we had 54 Penny Sale items.

I ended up breaking one of the items.

A beautiful Easter Bunny figurine.

SIGH...lol
This is what greeted us when we came downstairs to the Church Hall.

A LOT of chaos.

The Church was having it's heating ducts cleaned.
Last week we had a fire at our Church.

Arson.

10 more minutes and the whole Church would have been engulfed.

Miracle.

So the past president graciously got all the items set up for the Penny Sale.

She is AMAZING at making beautiful vignettes.

Most of the items that we have for the Penny Sale are 15 dollars and up.

Barb and I swept.

My mom swept.

I swept AGAIN.

After all the tables were set, organized and chairs in place one of the men that was doing the duct cleaning stated that there may be 'some dust'.

I wiped my hand on the table.

BLACK film all over it.

So wipe down 16 tables and 80 chairs.

Sweep some more.

By this time it was me doing it.

Everyone else that had come to help had left.


I also decided to organize and declutter two cupboards while I was there, LOL.

Now hubby just finished cooking supper.

Such a sweetie.

He did a load of laundry and folded it while I was gone!

I'm hungry!!

....and tired.
