ADDING SOD TO RESOLUTIONS

As of right now I have 30 resolutions for 2012.

Yes, you read correctly!

lol....

I may have more...will see how the Spirit leads.

SOD for resolutions?

Yes, you can simplify, organize and declutter resolutions folks.

For instance...

One of my resolutions is to light a candle each and every day!

Yepper.

That's a resolution.

I love candles.

I love the smell of candles.

I love how they make me feel.

Candles brighten my day.

Brighten my heart, bring me comfort and joy.

Since they do all that for me, then it's only super natural I should make a point of doing this on a daily basis.

Even if it's one candle I light up.

Usually the top shelf has my Bible and prayer book beside the globe of Jesus praying (at Gethsemane).

They are packed though.

I'm heading off in a few hours to London with my parents to see the eye specialist.

Sure could use some prayers folks.

Also pray for my own family too.

"Life" can sure wear you down.

As a woman being a wife, mother, daughter, employee, friend and a diva to boot (lol)...living is hard work.

I thank God for my faith.

It helps me get through all life's disappointments.

The failures, the inadequacies, the loss.
Last night I was busy posting away on my Facebook group The Sacrificial Diet.

I was just surrounded by so much failure last night.

It was one of those nights that I was 'eating' Satan's lies.

Instead of looking to the Light of Christ Jesus, I was looking at all the 'rotten fruit' around me and also within me.

So I poured out my heart there.

Pressed comment.

Gone.

Didn't work.

What's a deranged woman on the roll to bla bla bla about her miserable situation to do?

Start all over.

Press comment.

Gone!

So what's the emotional woman to do now?

"Ok Lord. I get it."

I got it!

Who cares that I'm surrounded by so much.

I am confident and fearless and can face my foes triumphantly. (Psalm 112:8)

So take that rotten fruit~!!!

Photobucket
Stay tuned for the series of Adding SOD to Resolutions folks.

Blessings!

I just lit a candle and prayed. For YOU, Angie - and for your family.

No matter what comes, remain fearless and confident in the power of God within you.

What a great resolution! Can't wait to hear the 29 others.

Praying for your Mom's visit to Doc. Also I like the idea of lighting a candle each day (but I sometimes forget and leave them lit!--Might have to put a timer on to remind me to blow it out!)

I love candles, too! They do for me what they do for you and I love your resolution! I think that would be a perfect one for me, too.

I'm continuing to pray for your Mom! I hope they can get to the bottom of this soon! Also praying for you as you have so much going on.

May the Lord lift your head and cover you with His wings!!

Love you - Julie

Dear Angela,
I am praying for you and your Mom. What a lovely idea to light a candle every day. I also love candles but do not always light them every day but must do this.
Please e-mail me as London is just an hour away from me here in Oxford! If we could meet up how wonderful!!
