Praying, Angela!

Found this at Old Grey Mare blog:

I talk often of how this blogging community
blesses us all with love and friendship.
One of our own has lost her life partner,
her husband Bruce,
this day and she will need our prayers
and love for many months to come.

A precious follower of mine had surgery yesterday and I would ask that we pray for her healing, comfort and recovery during this time.

Dear one,

I’m having surgery on my ankle today at 2:30. Please say a prayer for me. I’ll need it!

Love you!

Penny

Praying very much for these these intentions.

Please say a prayer for my husband who had to call 911 while driving at work and rushed to the hospital. Thank you, so much. He is several hours away, so it's hard not being there and not knowing what is going on...

Prayer Warrior Friends... I Need You!!
My prayer warrior friends, I really need you right now. I have never posted anything negative or personal on my blog, but I have an issue that I need prayers for. I KNOW that my God has this under control and I KNOW that His will for this situation will be done. I need prayers for strength, for courage, for wisdom.

Without going into details, there was a situation yesterday at my oldest son's high school where he was involved. The school never contacted us about it, he told me about it when I picked him up from school. We did not think it was a serious issue. But this morning, it became serious and legal. We are contacting a lawyer and I'm going to bat for my son. Rich asked me to what extent do we want to fight this? I told him that I don't want to lose my home over it but there is an injustice to my child going on and I refuse to sit by and let it happen.

I will be back next week with more details and hopefully a resolve on this situation. I think the school thinks that we are going to accept it and move on, but this Momma bear will make sure her child is vindicated.

I am a very emotional person that too many times, lets my emotions get in the way and I'm also very NON-confrontational. So please pray that I can be firm, have the courage to say what needs to be said and not let my emotions interfere.

Thank you dearly, friends! I appreciate you and your prayers so much! Sorry I don't have anything fun or prim, or pictures today, just a heavy heart.

Praying for each concern, request here. May God's will be done and may HIS perfect will be done in each of our lives.

Jesus came to "seek and to save" that which is lost. Look for HIM, draw nigh unto HIM, and let HIM be your deliverer this day!

Father,

For this precious lady that lost her husband, Lord I ask that You would comfort her and give her strength.

For Penny, Lord I ask that her healing and recovery be easy and swift.

For the one who's husband had to call 911, Father, I ask that You be her strength as she waits. Bring peace to her heart and allow her love and caring spirit be felt by her husband, even though they are miles apart. Father, I ask that YOU be with the husband and with the medical staff....give these workers wisdom and may his health be restored in the Name of Yeshua!

Father, You know Angela's heart as she seeks Your will for her life, the lives of her family, and her home.....whether this is about home and family or work, spiritual or physical, we know YOU are LORD over all. You never sleep or slumber...You are constantly moving on our behalf! May YOU who knows the end from the beginning be high and lifted up in this situation. May what feels like a struggle, be a surrender to YOU, that victory will be in Your hands and restoration can begin! Father, I ask that Your perfect will be made manifest in every area of Angela's life. She is such a treasure (a pearl of great price) to each of us! She is Your willing servant, restore her joy that she might be even stronger than before! HalleluYah!

Father, please be with this one who is protecting her son! May You walk with them in this situation and may Your Will be done! Father, I asked that you shut the lion's mouth, just as you did for Daniel and that Your TRUTH be revealed.

Father, YOU are the Author and Finisher of each of us! Our faith is in YOU and YOU alone! May You be glorified in each situation! And we give you the praise and glory for all. Amen!

Angela ~

"Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of - throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself."
― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

(I'll be carrying you in my heart today, bringing you before the Father, each time the Holy Spirit prompts me. Love you!)

Praying, Angela - It's Saturday, but I'm STILL fearless!

May God's direction be clear for you, His provision abundant, & His grace enough for all you face today.

UPDATE ON PENNY:

Hi everyone - I'm doing pretty well. I'm up and mobile when I have to be but I'm supposed to be off my feet most of the time. Very little pain at all - I'm only taking anti-inflammatories since I'm allergic to my pain meds. But I can only take them for five days then I have to stop because they're very strong and can cause stomach bleeding. Then I switch over to Aleve or Advil. Thanks for all the good wishes! I'll be on my computer when I can. Love you all!
