MORE PICTURES FOR A STORY

I had to stop yesterday because I was getting worn out with doing the post.

Far too many pictures for one post.

Taking too long to get the post done and getting me stressed out.

lol.

Seriously!

After I put up the post I sat and looked at the pictures I shared.

sigh....

It did my heart good.

Put a smile on my face.
It felt like when I go to your blog or read something you posted on Facebook, or an email you sent me, or a chat we have had...

Encouraged. Inspired. Uplifted.

These brass candle stick holders were my Aunt Tina's who passed away this month a few years ago.

The rest are yard sale finds.

I know it doesn't look like it but I've 'simplified' my decorating.

I'm finding that SOD (remember that folks..simplify, organize, declutter) has become more evolved in my home decorating.

I'll be honest though, it's hard.

I keep thinking everything looks empty.

That I need to fill it up with more stuff.

It makes me think about my life.

Filling myself up with 'stuff'.
I got this print for 50 cents.

Believe it or not, the pictures I shared from yesterday, well I changed it already.

LOL.

Actually I just added some vintage runners, tablecloths, napkins.

Placing them here and there.

I forgot how many I had.

lol

I still have tons more.

Some I will use for outdoors when I start decorating outside.

My work hours are from 8:45 till 3:15.

Monday to Friday.

It may change eventually, depending on the enrollment of daycare children.

Here is another Resolution I made in January.

2. Start a Bible Study. Share God's Word to the hungry. Nourish them.

I used to have weekly studies at my home for years.

A time we would gather together to be encouraged, inspired, uplifted and just loved.

I haven't done this for quite a few years now.

My spirit felt it was time to open my home once again and open myself up also.

With my work schedule at Walmart the way it was, I wasn't sure when and how often it would happen.

I was willing though and open to God's leading.

Never imagined that I could have it weekly and on the same day.

Another Ephesians 3:20 moment. More than I could have ever asked, imagined or prayed for.

I still don't know when I will start. What day. And if anyone is interested.

lol...

I'm leaving it to the Lord.

Open doors that need to be opened.

Close doors that need to be closed.
So many comment on the faith I have.

I fight worry on a daily basis.

Sometimes I just kick it's ass right out the door real quick.

Other times we wrestle almost all day long.

There are days I imagine myself like that lion on Fearless Friday (not the cute one folks, the one that is ROARING).

I did that when I was at the dentist a few weeks back.

I kept envisioning that lion. I also pictured myself like that awesome warrior I SO love (remember, I want to get a custom like that and wear it for Halloween? Wish I could wear it every day,LOL).

I kept repeating...I do not fear bad news for I confidently trust in the Lord to care for me. I am fearless (than I envisioned me roaring like that lion to the enemies of worry and fear), and confident and I can face my foes triumphantly. (than I pictured me just walking strong with my arms out a bit ready for battle).

When the dental hygienist asked what I wanted to watch on TV while she cleaned my teeth, I told her I wanted to watch..'the religious channel. Can I watch Mass?"

Seriously. LOL

I didn't see much, nor hear much but just knowing I was at 'Church' while she was working on me helped me.

She was quite amazed how brave I was.

I have A LOT of work to be done on my teeth.

The Dentist didn't know how much cleaning she could get done because my teeth are so sensitive.

She kept asking..'you want to have a break?'

"NO, just get it done.  It's got to get done. Plus I have  to go shopping with my mother after this."

LOL.

I'm just thinking as I type this out, I sure can ramble on at times.

That's what it's like when you come to my home.

I show you around my house. Point out all the yard sale finds I have. Give you the prices I paid for them and in between tell you my story.
Shaneah and I have been going for walks every night since Saturday.

We missed only one day.

It rained.

I've been to Diane's house a few times this week also.

My BFF, the other half of the Yard Sale Divas.

She is off this Summer also.

Which means weekends off.

Which means we are going yard salin!

I am not sure if we will go together every Saturday though.

I know Randy may want to go also.

I need to cut that tag off this rabbit folks.

It's driving me nuts every time I see this picture.

Of course I still haven't done it.

I keep reminding myself.

I just keep forgetting.

lol

Been listening to Dean Martin.

Frank Sinatra.

I found an awesome station at the Daycare to listen too.

All my favorite oldies.

Of course I will be listening to children's music more often.

And watching Wiggles. Little Bear. Thomas the Train.

Cripe, I love these shows so much!

Seriously, I do..except for Thomas the Train, but I'll grow into that too.

I've baked almost every day this week.

Peanut butter cookies. I don't like them too much. Not chewy for me. I like chewy cookies.

Chocolate Chip Cake. Oh my goodness, that was good.

Banana Bread. Forgot  to add the flippin margarine. Found it in the microwave a few hours later.

CRIPE! lol

It's still good.

lol.
The End!

so how did you like my story?

lol.

blessings.

Angie, I love to read your blog. I think it is awesome that you are going to do Bible study in your home. You are such a unique lady. I went to a motivational workshop this week. He did a guided imagery and he made us all say " I am unique, special and important". I kept those three words in my head all day and they are still there.
So I want you to close your eyes and say " I am unique special and important and do like I added because I am a child of God".

I LOVED your story. I always love your stories and listening to you talk about life! So what was number 1? Some how the first part was missing. So are you going to have your own day care again or is it that you are working for the other place that you worked for? I'm confused but glad to see you back TWO days in a row! Yea, Angie sent a blog! Love you!

Angela,
I loved your story (except for the lots of work to be done on your teeth part) because I think you are just as crazy as I am!
And I love Dean Martin. And Frank. And bunnies. And rambling. And bargains and margarine-free banana bread.
And I LOVE your personality!
And that we share the love of Christ!
HUGS!
